Question by Sam needs a hug...: Is there much money in erotica novels?

I'd prefer to write something meaningful and classy, but erotica is just so damn easy to write. It just flows out (in more ways than one). =/
Is there any money in it?

Write your book.
Read your book.
Edit your book.
Have someone else read your book.
Edit your book.
Mail copies to different romance novel publishers. (Just look them up in the covers of other books).
Get payed.
