Forensic psychologist Jess Mitchell has returned to her hometown as a favor to her father, the Chief of Police, to assist local authorities in the investigation of a series of seemingly unrelated murders. She is partnered with the lead detective, Staff-Sergeant Kevin Slater, a sexy cop who is the very image of the man from a recent dream.
