Ghosts, Sims, appear

How can I get ghosts to appear in Sims 2?

I have Sims 2 Seasons and I know alot of people who have this game see ghosts. Well Grammy really hates the maid and wanted to see her ghosts so i killed her with flies and have the maid's tombstone in my front yard. But her ghost never appears. How can I get it to?

it will appear on it's own. sometimes the ghosts on my games don't appear for 3 or 4 days at a time ( sims days of course). not sure if there is a cheat to get a ghost to appear or not. might be something to look into if you would like them to show up sooner.
