20 August 2009 Creative Commons possible use: This related conversation is posted here to capture my comments about using caution before using without a model release. I said "El Cabazares, sounds interesting - please read www.flickr.com/people/mikebaird/#credit which has all my boilerplate on how to use my images with attribution.
I'm generally cool w/ my images being used with attribution... but note that there are cases where a model release is needed even for me as the photographer to use an image in certain ways...
You should get legal opinion on whether your use is editorial, or creates the assumption of endorsement and requires release. I don't know the girl, did not even talk to her, and don’t have a release on this image. My assumption is that a model release is required for your stated use. Based on my iStockphoto experience I'm pretty sure they would not accept this image without a signed model release.

The movie is about a young russian immigrant who comes to north america and discovers he doesnt want to live as a dishwsher with a 7$/hour income. So he find his way in the underground to live as a gangster...
