Korakuen å¾æ¥½å' Garden
Korakuen Garden was the garden for Okayama castle's master, the lord of Bingo, contemporary Okayama prefecture. It had been very famous garden all around Japan, counted one of "Japanese 3 gardens". It had been destroyed and burnt almost compleately by US airbone, then rebuilt as it had been.
Koraku-en means, Koraku garden. Koraku is derived from Chinese saying Sen-yu-kou-raku, å
æå¾æ¥½, which means "to suffer first (sen-yu), then enjoy later (kou-raku)",
